About
Hi, I'm Viacol. I'm currently a PhD student in Computer Science, expected to graduate in 2028.
During my PhD, I've been working on two tracks in parallel — research and engineering practice. My research focuses on collaboration mechanisms in Multi-Agent Systems, while my engineering work has consistently involved the development of business systems and agent systems.
What I'm Working On
My current main line of work is exploring how multi-agent systems can enable automated workflow construction inside complex, high-barrier industrial software that depends on specialized toolchains — in short, taking workflows that traditionally rely on hand-crafted setup by domain experts and delegating them to LLM-driven agents working collaboratively, ultimately lowering the cost of using such industrial software.
On the engineering side, I'm responsible for taking business-facing Agent systems from 0 to 1, covering:
- Agent framework selection and Harness design
- Tool use orchestration, context and state management
- Evaluation pipeline construction and regression
- Production deployment and monitoring
